Light as a breath of air, the Aliento Shawl celebrates the beauty of flowing openwork. A refined twisted-stitch mesh forms the body of the biased crescent shawl, accented by distinctive garter ridges, unique crossed-lace sections, and an elegant i-cord edge. With simple, meditative repeats and fully adjustable sizing, this design is a quick, satisfying knit that highlights the depth of variegated yarns and can be enjoyed by knitters of all skill levels.

Designed to use one skein of Malabrigo Ultimate Sock Yarn, this design is featured in the June 2026 Malabrigo Quickies Program.
