ABOUT
Ali’s Sock is a meditative adventure in colourwork dedicated to Ali, the artist behind Explorer Knits + Fibres. Every other round is knit simply in one colour, for a break between each colourwork round. This helps create a smooth overall fabric, and a relaxing experience. The heel flap is worked using both colours, and the gusset decreases are placed on the bottom of the foot to provide a smooth pattern for the foot, and a hidden design detail on the bottom. There are two toe options, a patterned toe or a solid toe in either colour. The design will appear best if there is a high level of contrast between the two colours.
