Alkuja sock pattern is the very first pattern that I wrote and published originally in 2018. Now (3/2022) the pattern has been updated.

Originally the pattern was written for only one women’s size. Now it’s available in a total of nine size options: 3 for children, 3 for women, and 3 for men. I wanted to make sure that everybody should be able to find the right fit! I have also given the pattern a new look and template.

These socks are worked with Aran/worsted weight yarn and 3.5 mm dpn’s. Work your way from the cuff to toe: Fancy and textured rib in the cuff, easy to knit flag stitch pattern in the leg, reinforced Dutch heel, and a beautiful instep where the pattern continues all the way to the
tip of toes.
