FIT & EASE

This cardigan is designed with 20–30 cm (8–12”) of positive ease, meaning the finished bust measurement is 20–30 cm (8–12”) larger than your actual bust.

Example:
If your bust measures 90 cm (35½”), choose size M.
Size M has a finished bust circumference of approx. 120 cm (47”), giving you 30 cm (12”) of ease.
If you prefer a less oversized look, choose one size down.

The model in the photos has a 92 cm (36”) bust and is wearing size L.

CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW

The All Fall Cardigan is worked bottom-up in one piece. The work is then divided:

1. Right front
2. Back
3. Left front

Shoulder shaping is worked with German short rows.
Next, shoulder straps are knitted from the neckline toward the armholes, joining live stitches of the front and back as you go.
Sleeves are picked up at the armholes and knitted in the round.
The hem, cuffs, and collar are finished with 1×1 ribbing, and the double-knit button band includes integrated buttonholes.

• 2.5 mm (US 1.5) circular needles, 60 cm (24”) – collar
• 2.75 mm (US 2) circular needles, 100 cm (40”) – hem ribbing
• 3.0 mm (US 2.5) circular needles, 100 cm (40”) + 1 DPN – button band
• 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, 100 cm (40”) – main body
If not using Magic Loop: 40 cm (16”) circulars or DPNs for sleeves
