These instructions will teach you 2 types of smooth hearts mosaic crochet, using written instructions, charts and process photos. It is worked in overlay crochet technique with two (or more) contrasting colours. Overlay stitches are made in front loops, so there is no chains behind them.

You will need yarn of the same weight in 2 contrasting colours and the hook sized to your yarn.

This pattern also looks like dragon scales, so can be used to create dragon themed blanket as well as the heart themed - colour will guide the interpretation.
