The All Seasons Collar can be worked up with any weight yarn and any size hook. I have also used cotton yarn such as Lily Sugar n’cream for the spring and summer season. Instead of a button closure, a favorite pin or flower could be used.

As the pattern indicates this is a collar for all seasons - acrylic yarns, fuzzy yarns, wool yarns, sport weight yarns, and cotton will all work to give you a collar for any season of the year. A laceweight yarn or cotton (doily) thread would yield a delicate and vintage appearance.
