This is a quick make that looks beautiful and as it is worked in an open stitch it is a cowl that can suit all seasons. Use a chunky cotton for summer and a warm acrylic or wool version for winter.

Make a small version for a toddler or can be used as an adult neckwarmer, the medium version is great for a child or the largest version makes a beautiful adult size cowl.

Gauge is not really important in this pattern. If you are using a chunky yarn and a 10 mm hook this should result in a cowl that will fit you well.

You will need:

100-144 m for the two smallest versions, and around 200m of chunky yarn for the larger version.
10 mm crochet hook
yarn needle
pins or stitch markers for sewing the single seam.
