Every year, I think of the seasons that come and go and the myriads of colours that people miss. My favourite time is Autumn. It is the time of year when things get slightly colder, the rain and wind turn the green leaves to orange then brown. As some of the trees lose their leaves, a beautiful rich pallet of colours can be seen scattered on the earth.
I have designed this scarf with autumn in mind, wishing for something light to help keep the cold breeze at bay when I’m outside and enjoying nature in all its glory.
The yarn I created for this scarf contains 75% Super wash Merino/ 20% Nylon/ 5% Gold Stellina. This soft yarn has a myriad of colours from orange, brown, gold, yellow and purple. It has flecks of golden glitter like the sun coming through the clouds and leaves. As a 4ply finger weight, it is lovely and soft. It is great for a casual day, but with a complimenting colour it can be a lovely evening accessory as well.
I purchased the Yarn from Moseley Park, in a colour blend called Kenna.
