STEVE THE ALLIGATOR HAND PUPPET PATTERN, for hours of imaginative, creative playtime!

It’s easy to make gifts all year round when you’ve got a portable, small project like this. Sit on the patio or by the pool, and crochet up a gift or two this week! This pattern works up in a few hours ~ Advanced Beginner level ~ Make one or a bunch, for a unique Birthday or Christmas gift. More puppet patterns are coming, so you can make a menagerie!

This swamp creature is named after my late brother, who always gave our little sister an alligator at Christmas.
I grew up doing puppet shows with my siblings, so I’m excited to share my puppet patterns with you. The children in your life will enjoy hours of unplugged imaginative play, making memories that last a lifetime. Moving the mouth as the child “speaks” for the puppet develops valuable language and social skills. My timeless puppets are designed to be passed on for generations. So, celebrate good old fashioned fun, and make a parade of puppets today!

This pattern is Advanced Beginner level and can easily be completed in a few hours. My patterns are written in English, in American crochet terms. Techniques used in my patterns include sc, hdc, dc, sl st, increasing and decreasing, crocheting in the round and in rows, making a magic circle, whip stitch, and more.
