Ally is a huggable sheep with floppy ears. This pattern uses both stockinette stitch and garter stitch for the textured body. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, this toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, a stitch holder, and buttons to decorate.

SIZES
One size only - 24cm tall measured from toes to top of head.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
