Alma Sweater is worked from the bottom and up in a two-colored pattern. First the body is worked in the round up to the armhole, then the front and back pieces are divided and worked separately.
The front is divided into a left and right front piece, while the button band is worked. Each shoulder are shaped with short rows and at the end worked together with a visible bind-off on the right side.
The sleeves are worked separately in the round and sewn onto the sweater at the end.
Finally the neck edge and collar are worked from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neckline.
