The Almond Torrone Scarf is a simple
beginner pattern to make your first (or
10th, 70th …) luxurious scarf!
I used only one color but this could be an
amazing scrap yarn project or a base for
the most eye-catching striped colorful
accessory.

The Almond Torrone Scarf is knitted in
1x1 ribbing until the desired length, then
you can decide if you want to add tassels
or not. The sample knit has been steam
blocked just lengthwise (so it doesn’t
really show the purl stitches) and it’s
meant to look like a curling-free
stockinette scarf.

The name of the pattern is inspired by a
famous (and delicious) italian nougat
confection that is usually served and
eaten around Christmas. Torrone is made
of honey, beaten egg whites, almonds,
wafers, hazelnuts and vanilla and has an
overall off white color.
