This garment was inspired by the Aloha Vest - my first ever crochet garment pattern. I wanted a bell sleeve, 70s-inspired, boho version - and so the Aloha Cardigan was born.

This cardigan is crocheted in 3 panels: body + 2 front panels. They are seamed together partially to create a split hem at the bottom. The sleeves are sewn on at the end. The sleeves are crocheted from the widest portion of the bell sleeve in the round, up to the shoulder by decreasing to form a fitted upper sleeve. This section is meant to hug your upper arm to create more of a dramatic look as the sleeve transitions from the oversized, wide, drapey bell sleeve to the fitted upper arm.

I graded this pattern from XS-5X following the sizing standards of the CYC to be as inclusive as possible. #sizeinclusive I want everybody to be able to make this piece for themselves, and if you do not fall within this range, send me a message and I will help you tailor this to your own measurements.
