Pattern Description
I designed this pattern as part of my One Year One Outfit 2022 Project with the Pembina Fibreshed. In this project, I am making an outfit using materials sourced from within 200 miles of the Pembina River in Manitoba.
This cowl begins with casting on lots of stitches, and in a few rows, you will already be casting off! After some ribbing, eyelet rows and stockinette rows are worked before a final ribbing section. This pattern is wonderful for solid colours, as well as colourful or self-striping yarns (sample is worked in a self-striping yarn).

Level
This pattern is at an advanced beginner level. Skills needed:
• Join, and work in the round
• Work a 1x1 rib in the round
• Knit in the round
• Work k2tog and yO stitches
• Complete a stretchy cast on and cast off of your choice

Sizing
One size fits most. Finished measurements: 8 inches/20cm wide, by 66 inches/168 cm around. You can get 2-3 loops around with this cowl.
