Sometimes the simplest accessories become the most worn. I think this will become one of those for you. Knit in one piece with only 1 ball of Alpaca Natural Colors, you can whip this up in a weekend and be cozy all fall and winter. Better yet, make one for yourself and then make a bunch for gifts!

Alpaca Natural Colors is made of fine alpaca wool, completely free from dyes, from the Peruvian Andes, to create a yarn that is only available in natural alpaca colours: ecrus, beiges, browns, greys, and blacks. It is a limited edition brushed alpaca with a cotton core. It feels like heaven and I couldn’t resist making something that would sit next to my skin with it.

Alpaca is naturally warmer than wool, making it perfect for a cowl that sits just under the collar of your coat. The slight “v” in the front of the cowl sits in just the right spot, keeping you covered without adding bulk.
