Materials
Two different colours of aran yarn (preferably 100% cotton). I used: 3x balls of Drops Paris 044 Brown (50g/1.8oz, 75m/82yds) and 4x balls of Drops Paris 058 Powder Pink (50g/1.8oz, 75m/82yds)
4.5mm crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Measuring tape
Sticky tape or a heavy item
Stitch markers

Gauge
Drops Paris aran yarn, 4.5mm hook
5x5cm square of single crochet = 9 stitches wide x 10 rows tall
5x5cm square of Alpine stitch = 8 stitches wide x 8 rows tall
