To get the design of our dishcloth we use the alpine stitch. The alpine stitch is a beautiful stitch. If you never tried the alpine stitch before, here is a great opportunity for you to try this stitch. The dishcloth is a small project for you to learn how to do the alpine stitch. The yarn we use to complete the dishcloth is Peaches & Creme, 100% cotton – medium 4 (worsted). We used 1 skein (1 ball) to complete our project. The color yarn is Mint. The dishcloth comes in only one size. To adjust the size of the dishcloth start with an odd number of chains. The approximate finished measurement of our dishcloth is 8” wide x 7 1/2” long. Give it a try and see how yours comes out.
