The Alpine Escape Hat is a stranded colorwork beanie that is knit from the bottom up in dk weight yarn. This unisex hat features a choice between a single or double folded brim to keep you warm all winter long, an optional turnpike design in the middle with easy colorwork, and a bunched top making it perfect for adding a pom-pom.

Note to ensure the turnpike is loose enough to fit over your head, you must weave the yarn very loosely throughout.
