The Alpine Meadow Shawl is the knit of my Alpine dreams- perfect for frolicking in fields when there is a still a gentle chill in the air. And is now my go-to shawl for many reasons! The three graduated color blocks are the perfect way to show off three colors you adore, or to knit in tonals, like our sample, for a classic, timeless wardrobe piece. It is knit in DK weight yarn- ours in our 100% farm raised Pygora DK- that creates an extremely cozy finished item. This primarily stockinette knit is wonderfully meditative when you need a palatte cleanser on your needles, or some distraction-free knitting. The bind-off border is the only complex part, and a guided video tutorial is linked in the pattern to walk you through each step. The border is designed to compliment the garter and eyelet top edge of the shawl, and the steps are engineered to keeping your edge from curling. Detailed instructions to wet block are included at the end of the pattern to help your shawl look picture-perfect. This will be a staple in my knitwear for years to come, and I hope you enjoy the process and your finished shawl! -SamBee
