  • You can find a video for this pattern here: slippers Crochet Level- Intermediate
  • This is pattern 8 in my series 12 Days of Warmth.

About This Pattern: This is a recipe or tutorial to make a pair of slipper socks to fit you. Since everyone has different shaped legs and feet, I thought a recipe style pattern would be a better idea.

  • You can also make these as tall, baggy, fitted etc. as you would like. Detailed instructions tell you how. I have also included all of my stitch counts that I used for my sample socks (as an example) and lots of notes, pictures and helpful tips to guide you.

  • Alpine Slipper Socks can also be made with a variety of yarn types. Dk wt is suggested as that is what I used for my socks, but sport, dk, worsted, or bulky would also work great too! Just adjust your hook size to your yarn choice.

Use one or as many colors as you would like. This would make a great scrap yarn project. Sample socks were made with 4 different colors.
