This pattern is very versatile in that it can be made with any worsted weight(4) yarn or maybe even bulky(5)(that has yet to be tested) and can be made to any size you prefer by adding chains, eliminating chains, and adding or removing rows. Therefor there is no gauge either. You could also try going up a hook if you prefer to make your pumpkin larger. It’s all up to you. This pattern is simply to show you how I make the pumpkins in a continuous round without having to seam up the side and then the top and bottom. (Less sewing=A plus in my book) .
