A Crochet Alpine tulip bag is a bag you will want to have in your wardrobe. You can crochet it using any yarn you have in your stash. Just choose your yarn and the hook suitable for it.

Chunky weight yarn- 150-200gr.
I used Hobby Lobby Soft and Sleek Chunky in cream, beige and green colors.
Hook size- 6mm / US crochet hook size – G
You can use 3 mm polyester macrame as well. I include a picture of a bag I made with it.

Notes

  1. You can use a different yarn. I suggest you use bulky or worsted weight yarn.
  2. Make your bag base at least 10 inches. Ideal the base is around 10-12 inches.
  3. When you make the strap of your bag if you are going to use a Romanian cord It will be better to work your yarn in 2 strands. It will be more sturdy and thicker.
  4. Switch to the next color after each 3rd round.
