A very easy knitted wrap/poncho, made as a strip and folded and sewn to create a poncho. The “Edelweiss” petal edging is knitted separately and sewn on the edge afterward - totally optional.
The gauge is not overly important as it is knitted on oversize needles - this gives the wrap a nice drapey feel. It is important that you wash the finished garment and press with a warm iron due to the fact that the rib pattern will bounce up too much if you don’t do this.
The beauty of this wrap is that it can be worn both ways - long and asymmetrical at the front or the shorter side at the front.

Looks great over a long-sleeved merino top, skinny jeans and ankle boots for winter.
