The Alps Hat is a warm, soft, textured beanie worked from the bottom up. The hat is knitted without ribbing and features a folded hem turned to the inside, giving the edge extra structure, density, and warmth.
The textured stitch pattern creates a clean, sculptural surface and makes this hat a versatile accessory for both men and women. The pattern includes 3 sizes and can be finished with an optional pom-pom.

Sizes:
To fit head circumference: 52-54, 56-58, and 60 cm.

Yarn:
Kremke BabyAlpaka - 100% alpaca, (50 g / 100 m)
Yarn required: 2 skeins.

Gauge:
25 sts * 30 rows = 1010 cm in the stitch pattern after washing and drying.

Needles and tools:
3.50 mm circular needles, 40 cm long, or size needed to obtain gauge,
3.50 mm double-pointed needles,
3.50 mm crochet hook,
Stitch markers,
Tapestry needle,

Skill level: confident beginner.
