Stylish, comfy sweater with interesting, but not complicated knitting technic.

Alps sweater is worked from the bottom up.

The body of the sweater is worked in the round, then it’s divided into front and back, which are worked flat.

Sleeves are worked from the armholes in the round.
Stitches for the neck are picked up from the neckline.
The neck is two-layered.

The pattern includes step by step description and video tutorials.

Sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL

GAUGE 17 sts х 25 rows in 10 cm (4”) in Stockinette stitch with 5 mm (US 8) needles.

YARN: 7 (8) 9 (10) 11 (12) skeins of Drops Air (110 m./50 gr.)
Alternative yarn: Katia Concept Cotton Merino

OR approx. 1150 (1300) 1450 (1650) 1800 (1950) yards of Aran or Worsted yarn that obtains suggested gauge.

I recommend to knit this sweater with the original yarn or its analogues. If possible, use thick blow yarn or any light-weight yarn.
I do not recommend using yarn that is too warm, thick, heavy or scratchy, like 100% wool or 100% merino.
