The Alsatian Wrap was inspired by the Alsace Region of Europe and a beautiful naturally dyed twelve mini-skein Advent yarn calendar.

This wrap is the perfect pattern for twelve mini skeins or remnants from other projects. It’s a great use for leftover yarn!! One light, solid color is needed to serve as the Main Color and tie the twelve individual colors together.

It is advisable to arrange your mini-skeins/remnants in the order you would like to use them in your wrap. It is best to place non-contrasting colors besides each other.

The pattern was written for one size, but provides easy instructions for increasing or decreasing either the width or length.

While designing this wrap I used fingering weight yarn for the Main Color and the twelve individual colors. It can be knit in any weight yarn you choose, using the appropriate needle size for the yarn you have chosen. Please take into account that this will change the finished size of your wrap.

This wrap was designed for a KAL in the Never Enough Lace group. The KAL will begin on January 15, 2022.
