Who doesn’t love a fabulous pair of 80’s leg warmers?! These beauties were designed to match the “Not His” baggy boyfriend style sweater (coming soon!). They are worked top/down and on multiple needle sizes. They start on size US6’s for the top ribbing, the body on size US7’s, the bottom ribbing on size US8’s, and the bind off with a US9. They are worked in the round until the bottom ribbing which is worked flat. Sizes include: child, teen/adult small, adult, adult large, adult XL. While multiple sizes are offered there is instructions for all calf circumferences within the “notes” section of the PDF. The gauge is 5 stitches per inch. A swatch, before starting, is recommended to ensure the gauge/fit is precisely accurate.
Materials needed:
• Up to 2 skeins (3 for largest size) of Yarnitoli DK.
• Up to 54 Size 6 glass beads (optional).
• Size US6 16-inch circular needles (or DPN’s) for upper rib.
• Size US7 16-inch circular needles (or DPN’s) for the body.
• Size US8 16-inch circular needles (or DPN’s) for bottom 2x2 rib.
• Size US9 needle for bind off.
• Stranding needle (optional for beads)
• Cable needle
• Darning needle
