Ready for an easy-to-follow afghan design that will leave people dazzled at your crochet skills?

The Alternate Alpine Stitch Afghan pattern will give you an afghan that’s timeless, classic, and full of texture. There is, technically, a right and wrong side to the piece. But, this unique take on the alpine stitch produces a back side that’s just as beautiful and intriguing as the front, so it’s almost like two separate afghans in one!

Perfect to work up in any color, the pattern calls for 2800 yards of a worsted weight acrylic to make an afghan that’s 52.5x63”. You’ll also need a J-10.0/6.00mm hook, tapestry needle, and scissors. The pattern includes easy-to-follow written instructions and notes on how to adjust the size of your piece, if desired.
