A shawlette/scarf knitted sideways in one piece with
written and charted instructions.
Finished size is 32cm/12.25ins deep at the widest
point and 155cm/61ins length.

Materials
4mm/US 6 circular needle or a pair of 4mm/US 6
straight needles.
100g/4oz of Happy Go Knitty 50% merino/50% silk
yarn in 4ply/fingering weight.
1 stitch marker.
Yarn needle for sewing in ends.
A blocking mat and pins for blocking.

Abbreviations
K - knit, k2tog - knit the next 2 stitches together,
kfab - knit into the front and the back of the next
stitch, p - purl, p2tog - purl the next 2 stitches
together, pm - place marker, rep - repeat, sl 1 - slip
1 stitch, sm - stitch marker, som - slip over marker
to the other needle, st(s) - stitch(es), yo - yarn over.

Gauge/Tension
24 sts and 28 rows to 10cm/4ins over stocking stitch
on 4mm/US 6 needles blocked. Gauge/tension is
not crucial.

Note: To get the most of your skein weigh it
before starting. You will use 20% of your yarn for the
increase section, 60% for the straight section and
20% for the decrease section.
