This is an asymmetrical triangular shawl knitted sideways from the tip to the Broad edge. It is knitted mostly in stockinette st interspersed with rows of contrasting slip stitch pattern.
The pattern is written for sock weight yarn, I used a sock weight single ply yarn.

MATERIALS
Recommended yarn: Malabrigo Mechita. 100% Superwash Merino Wool. 384 m / 420 yds / 100 g / 3.53 oz.
MC: 1 skein, 384 m / 420 yds. CC: 1 skein, 384 m / 420 yds. Suggested colourway: Pearl and Diana.
Needles and Notions
3.75 mm (US 5) circular needle, or size required to obtain gauge, minimum 80 cm / 32 inches long.
Tapestry needle to sew in ends.
GAUGE
22 sts and 48 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in stockinette st, after blocking.
Gauge is not crucial for this project, but variations will affect yardage requirements and final measurements.
SIZE
Wingspan: 180 cm / 72 inches Depth: 50 cm / 20 inches. Measurements taken after blocking.
