This is a pattern for a triangular shawl that’s created using an equilateral triangle, knit from the top down, ending at the bottom point. It is knit with worsted weight yarn and incorporates four different stitches which will show all your colors well. They include a highly textured stitch, a twisted stitch, a lace stitch and a modified garter stitch.

All the stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

It is all knit with 6 different multi-colored yarns. There are instructions contained within the pattern for how to change from one color to the next. There are also instructions for how to make tassels.

Any combination of 6 multi-colored yarns that appeal to you can be used, although the textured stitch and the twist stitch looks best in either solid color or tonal yarns.

Skill Level: Beginner + Intermediate (if you have some knitting experience)

This “Fade” was knit using Lorna’s Laces Worsted Weight yarn, and was perfectly tested Rachel McKinney who can be contacted at: 100creations @gmail.com.
