Amaranthus is a top-down triangular shawl named for the Amaranthus caudatus, also known as the love-lies-bleeding, a plant characterised by clusters of hanging fuchsia flowers.

Beading is optional, for a border of bleeding hearts.

Uses about 80 japanese seed beads with a small crochet hook if you wish to bead.
