The Amaris Cowl is a cozy, warm and intricate cowl that is a surprisingly quick knit, thanks to the large knitting needles used. The double-stranded design creates a bulky yet flexible fabric, and allows for nearly endless color combinations based on the knitter’s preference. Plus, it’s a great project for both beginners and experienced knitters alike! Most should be able to complete this project in one afternoon.

I used US 36 (20mm) knitting needles to design this cowl, but US 35 (19mm) needles are more common in stores. Either needle size may be used to complete this project.

Happy knitting!
