AMATUS mini sweater
AMATUS is a Latin boys’ name meaning “beloved”. It is a name that sounds strong and loving, conveying courage and warmth. The stitch pattern of the sweater is inspired by the way our mother used to play with knit and purl stitches. With these, she always managed to create something special, each stitch full of love and care. This sweater reflects that same loving energy, with a design based on the sweaters she made for us.
The AMATUS mini sweater is knit top down in the round, on a circular needle. To shape the fit, short rows and raglan increases are used. The body is knit in the round, as are the sleeves. The collar is added later.
