Amber Chunky Scarf
Inspired by the chunky scarves gracing the catwalks this winter, I designed a cheerful, chunky, cozy scarf; perfect for the fashion conscious yet cold man or woman in your life.
The scarf is designed to be pretty wide - the sample measures 8 inches wide and is over 6 feet long. You will need to make it longer than a regular scarf because the chunky nature means that wrapping it around is more difficult.
Gauge isn’t especially important as long as you’re getting a nice wide scarf and the cable pattern holds together nicely.
As well as the yarn and needles, you will need a darning needle for weaving in ends and a cable needle.
This pattern used 3.5 skeins of Home Farm Wensleydales Big Wool.
