This pattern includes picture of finished product, terms and chart in English only. «Amber streaks hat» is a lightweight textured hat. It is great for cool spring mornings or evenings. Hat is worked seamlessly in the round from bottom up with circular needles. Begin by working some rounds in 1x1 Twisted Rib, then stripe of lacy pattern and twisted rib again allows for a nice drape, and results in a cute crown. Skill level intermediate.
Yarn
Shown in SuperGeelong Botto Poala Coned Yarn, 100% Extrafine Merino, 1640,4 yards (1500 m) per 100 g, 3ply. Yardage ~31g. Any similar yarn can be used.
Needle
US 1 (2.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) Circular/DPNs for ribbing.
US 3 (3 mm) 16” (40 cm) or 24” (60 cm) Circular/DPNs for lace.
US 3 (3 mm) 32” (80 cm) Circular/DPNs (or longer circular needle for magic loop) for crown shaping.
Gauge
28 sts x 38 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in St. st. on No3 mm needles after blocking.
Materials
Waste cotton yarn, crochet hook No4, stitch markers.
Sizes
