This mitt is designed to fit with a slight amount of negative ease of 1/4”-1/2” or 5mm-1cm for a snug fit.
Measure the circumference of your hand around the palm not including your thumb for best fit.
The sample is of the “child” size photographed on an adult with a hand circumference of 6 1/2” (17cm) with the 1/4” negative ease measurement.

Please Note: This type of colorwork has less stretch than your standard stockinette mitt.
If you’d like more negative ease, please swatch and record the difference between relaxed to fully stretched. This will help you best estimate the stretch ratio before choosing a size with more negative ease.

For gauge in stranded colorwork In the round:
28 stitches x 32 rows = 4 x 4 inches 10 x 10 cm

Suggested Needles
