Amelia Mittens
The Amelia Mittens are worked from the wrist and upwards in rib and double moss stitch. The thumbs are worked last. You may use either the Magic Loop technique with a long circular needle or double-pointed needles.
SIZES: S (M) L
MEASUREMENTS: The sizes S (M) L correspond to a hand circumference of approximately 17–18 (19–20) 21–22 cm. Measure the hand around the knuckles, just above where the fingers begin.
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES: 3 mm US2½ and 3.5 mm US4 / 80 cm 32 inches circular needles if using the Magic Loop technique, or 3 mm US2½ and 3.5 mm US4 double-pointed needles.
GAUGE: 20 stitches in double moss stitch = 10 cm
MATERIALS: 50 g Sunday from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 235 m) (shown in color 2321) or 50 g Merino from Knitting for Olive (50 g = 250 m)
held together with
25 g Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn (25 g = 212 m) (shown in color 2321) or 25 g Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive (25 g = 225 m) or 25 g Kid-Silk from Drops Design (25 g = 210 m).
