A cute ruffled scarf with no really long rows but lots of short ones!

The scarf is worked sideways from point to point. The body of the scarf, border band and ruffle are worked at the same time, the ruffles being formed with short rows.

Using two hanks of baa ram ewe Titus you can make a scarf/shawl up to 200cm (79”) long and 45cm (17.5”) deep at the widest point. As the shawl is knitted sideways the length is very easy to adjust.

You can use 4mm/US 6 straight or circular needles to knit the scarf. You will also need a stitch marker, removable markers (optional), and a crochet hook two sizes smaller than the knitting needles used.
