Amélie

Amélie ist ein Pullover mit klassischer Ausstrahlung, der von einem Hauch Romantik umspielt wird, nicht zuletzt durch die weiten Ballonärmel, die dem Stück seine leicht verspielte Note verleihen. Im Zentrum des Designs steht die Sattelschulter: Sie sorgt für eine besonders klar definierte, gut sitzende Schulterpartie und wird zusätzlich durch ein besonderes Fallmaschenmuster dekoriert.

Gestrickt wird der Pulli top-down, der Ausschnitt wird mittels verkürzter Reihen geformt. Anspruchsvoll ist vor allem die Sattelschulter: In jedem Abschnitt werden Zunahmen an exakt definierten Stellen platziert, während am Übergang von Vorder- und Rückteil zur Schulter zugleich der Musterwechsel beachtet werden muss. Die hier verwendeten Techniken an sich sind nicht schwierig – anspruchsvoll wird Amélie in der Umsetzung, welche hohe Konzentration erfordert.

Amélie

Amélie has a classic silhouette with a feminine touch. The balloon sleeves, which are worked in a playful drop-stitch pattern, add to the romantic feel. Thanks to the special saddle shoulder construction, the drop-stitch pattern also decorates the shoulders.

Amélie is worked top-down, with the neckline shaped using short rows. The saddle shoulder is the main challenge: in each section, increases have to be placed at precisely defined points, while pattern changes have to be tracked where the front and back meet the shoulder. None of
the techniques themselves are difficult — it’s the execution that makes Amélie demanding, since it calls for close attention throughout.
