Amenbo is a Japanese word meaning a water strider. Doesn’t the pattern look like Amenbo skating on top of the water? I now think Amenbo is kind of a scary bug that I enjoyed looking at when I was a kid. I thought Amenbo was very cute! Maybe I was a strange kid lol

Tips
Wrap the last 3 sts twice:

  1. Bring the yarn in front
  2. Slip the last 3 sts you just knit from the right needle to the left needle
  3. bring the yarn to the back
  4. slip the 3 sts you just slipped from the left needle to the right needle
  5. repeat 1-4
