American Girl Ready to Dance!
Are your dolls ready to dance? They will need this ballet shrug and leg-warmers!
This pattern is worked sideways in one piece with stitches picked up for the sleeves and worked in the round. Icords are worked to close it in the front with a bow, but ribbons could be used if preferred.
Yoga/dance leg warmers are worked in the round.
I used one 50gm ball of yarn with enough left to make the hairband as well. You will need a short piece of elastic for this.
(The fuseaux I made from an old pair of leggings and the tutu skirt is simple tulle gathered at the waist and sewn to a ribbon. The skirt is closed with a snap. If desired they would be easy to copy with a minimum of sewing skills to complete the outfit. )
