Important note: Yarn has been discontinued, pattern is no longer for sale..It has been brought to my attention, by another wonderful Ravler, that Yarnspirations has manufactured some skeins of Golden Gate with the colors in a different order. Because of this, I have included a second version of the pattern, for those who purchased it before 2/18/2020, with a new graph to help accommodate this discrepancy. (see 3rd image of graph) Also, please check your color sequence before starting your project to make sure you have your desired color layout. Contact Yarnspirations with any concerns or questions about the yarn. Contact me at knotholecrochet@gmail.com with any questions about the pattern. Thank you!

This pattern will help you create a beautiful and unique blanket that will have all your friends and family wondering how you created it with all those color changes! Made in the colors synonymous with Americana culture, this blanket has been named to reflect the action of remembering our history as a country. Through good times and bad we continue to hope for better. This blanket will wrap warmly around a baby, child, or adult easily. Pattern includes pictures and a graph.

Introduction:
Welcome to the fun world of Planned Pooling! If this is your first project I hope you enjoy making this blanket as much as
I did. Planned pooling is the act of taking striped yarn, figuring out how many stitches each color makes, and plotting
them in a pattern. I use plannedpooling.com to help me come up with a layout and I have included this graph on the last
page. Planned pooling does take some patience in the learning period, but once you get the hang of it, it will be like
riding a bike. I recommend you be very familiar with crochet techniques. If during the making of this blanket you need
help trouble‐shooting a problem, I am happy to help.
