This adult cowl pattern, suitable for the advanced beginning knitter, can be modified to fit any sized individual. The cowl is knitted in the round using worsted weight yarn.

Approximately 175 yards of worsted weight yarn is used to complete the cowl. The cowl is knitted in the round with US size 7 circular needles, 16” US size 8 circular needles (or needles appropriate to obtain proper knitting gauge), and a cable needle or double point needle for use in cables. A beginner’s knowledge knitting cables is assumed.
