Worked from the point up Amethyst Fans is a versatile lace shawl that can be made to suit nearly any gauge or amount of yarn. To adjust the size simply begin the edging pattern when the shawl has reached the desired size.

The sample shown is made with 1200 yards of lace weight yarn, measures approximately 70 inches (178 cm) across the top, and features 10 rows of the fan pattern but the point up construction makes this easily adaptable to your yarn or size requirements.
