ERRATA!
The Gremlins have dipped into this pattern.
The Generic Body - Round 7 should read:
1DC in next 12 sts, (2DC in next st, 1DC in next st) 3x, (1DC in next st, 2DC in next st) 3x, 1DC in next 12 sts. (42sts)

This amigurumi crochet pattern includes a generic shape with options to turn the generic creation into a fox, raccoon, pig, unicorn, bear, cat or dog. It includes all the different ears, tails and noses needed. Included are a simple flower and leaf. A pair of boots and a rucksack pattern.

I use this pattern to teach my students amigurumi in the class room.

The finished creations stands about 30cm high.

It is an amigurumi pattern so the tension is worked very tight throughout.

I use an 8 ply (DK) yarn. The best yarns to use are pure wools that are a little sticky and on the heavy side.

It is difficult to predict the exact amount of yarn to use to each creation. It is a good pattern to use 8 ply (DK) leftover yarn.
