No specific gauge is needed. Finished product measures 31 inches long from the snout to the end of the tail, but this can be modified to be longer or shorter depending on how many rows you make.
Materials used:
Hook size US I (5.50 mm)
Weight 4, 100% acrylic, Caron One Pound yarn color “Blue Grotto”
Weight 4, 100% acrylic, Red Heart super saver yarn color “White”
Black and white anti-pill fleece
Fiberfill
Two pieces of 18-gauge steel galvanized wire twisted together
Yarn needle.
