Materials used in model:
1. Sport weight 100% cotton yarn. Use any yarn of your choice. (Change hook if you make a weight change)
Color A - for body, forehead and back of ears.
Color B - for the lower face.
Color C - for inner ears.
- Crochet hook 3.25 mm (U.S D hook, UK 10 hook).
- Black and pink embroidery thread.
- Polyfill, scissor, large needle, pin and stitch marker.
- Optional - about 3 inches (7.5 cm) piece of Sisal rope, finger wide (22-32 mm).
Dimension:
This adorable Hippo is about 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 6 inches (15 cm) long (from head to tail).
It all depends on your yarn, crochet hook and tightness of your crochet work.
