Amigurumi Ikea Bear
by Alex Craft
This adorable bear was inspired by Ikea’s Djungleskog, hence the name. The bear can be crocheted in a bulky weight yarn or a worsted weight yarn, but it will result in different sizes.
The worsted weight bear measures 9 inches tall and uses roughly 200 yards of worsted weight yarn.
The bulky weight bear measures 15 inches tall and uses roughly 320 yards of bulky weight yarn.
For reference, the purple bear was crocheted in worsted weight yarn and the brown bear was crocheted in bulky weight yarn.
This pattern requires quite a bit of stuffing as well as yarn, and some black yarn for the nose and mouth and eyes (or use safety eyes).
