Mimikyu es uno de los nuevos Pokémon de la última generación; está basado en un disfraz de Pikachu de hace 20 años, y se dice que adoptó esta forma porque quería ser tan popular y querido por la gente como Pikachu.

Está hecho con la técnica de Amigurumis y rellenos de algodón sintético.
